Off To Akrotiri
For the next part of our trip i had booked for us to stay at the stunning Avant Garde Suites I managed to get an amazing deal through Trip Advisors booking service Tingo... I was a bit dubious about using them as i had not heard alot about them and their price was easily £300 cheaper than anywhere else but as Santorini was expensive and we really wanted a hot tob suite with a view i took the risk and booked it and i am so glad we did.

Blue Domes and White Buildings.........
Our first proper day in Santorini and i knew exactly what i wanted to do... as we had 2 nights in Fira i wanted to take advantage of being able to do the famous Fira to Oia hike i had read about... Now to start with i had read it takes roughly 2/3 hours to do the hike and that it wasnt too intense, we chose to do the full scenic route and not go through the centre on Imerovigli.... We did take a little detor to Skaros rock and had a quick pit stop for lunch but in total it took us 5 hours!! We were exhausted by the time we got to Oia but were also quite glad we hadnt chosen to do it later on in the day...

Santorini Surprise......
I had been mesmorised by the stunning blue and white domes and knew it had to be a place for our list and as it is only a 4 hour flight from the UK it meant it was perfect for a weeks holiday.

New Year New Post.......
So 2015 has not been the best year it most definitely has been a roller coaster of extreme highs and extreme lows, one of the highest highs was getting to see my best friend get married in June just to be part of it and witness that moment was overwhelming and a emotional roller coaster and was most definitely what i needed after having a year riddled with sadness and realisation that my own wedding would be missing some of the most important people in life, my friends wedding made me realise that you have to embrace the present and be grateful for the wonderful people you get to share it with and even though it has been a long upward battle to get back to where i was over a year ago i finally feel like i am in a better place with plenty to look forward too.
