A Little Bit Of Isabel Magic.......

So i was lucky enough (or crazy enough) to have the day off to get up early and go to the launch of the Isabel Marant Pour H&M! I have been obsessed with Marants clothing for years i just love the Parisian laid back chic that she creates with her clothing, so when i heard about the collaboration i was beyond excited and knew i HAD to be there! I picked up quite a few pieces (though i unfortunately couldnt keep them all) so i had to do a couple of mini photo shoots to share them all! I was lucky enough to have the weather something that has stopped me over the past few months!

Outfits 7 & 8

So I have had a manic week so i am playing catch up!! But i will get up to date i promise.......

Day 7 -

It was so mild on Wednesday and i have been dying to try the neck scarf trend so i used the lovely weather as a excuse too!! I wore my Zara chinos which i love but are a bit big on me so they make a fab casual pair of trousers; i wore them with my faithful Topshop court shoes that go with everything and a plain black vest this allowed me to play up the prints on my scarf and jacket..... my neck scarf is a vintage Balenciaga which i have never worn so i am so glad this trend has flared up so i can make the most of it; my jacket is a silky H&M number that was no more than £20 and looks amazing it is such a easy throw on piece! I had to wear my hair up just to show off the neck scarf!

Outfits 5 & 6

So it did not take long for the typical British weather to kick in! My day 5 outfit is very comfy and relaxed as there was no way i was going out in that crazy rain (but i have missed comfy clothes and dvd days), but by Tuesday the weather had changed again to sunshine i really do think this month is going to be a roller coaster of weather.

Day 5 -

I am in love with this pink knit which is currently on sale for £15 (instead of £22) you can get yours by clicking here, i wear mine with everything and with this muggy wet weather it was paired perfectly with my PJ shorts which are from Forever 21 that are covered with my favourite thing in the world Paris!!! I also wore my Topshop moccasins which i have been dying to wear since i purchased them a few months ago.

Outfits Of The Day 3 & 4

So i am still playing catch up with my outfit a day challenge; i am only 2 days behind on uploading my images so here is

Day 3 -

I was channeling my inner hippy on Saturday, i am obsessed with this Topshop dress, it is so floaty and romantic and has been in my wardrobe for years and is always my go to dress when i need something  light and easy (though it has been too hot recently to wear it now the temperature has cooled slightly its perfect); i have paired it with my Topshop leopard pumps and my Topshop bag (i love this bag so much it was my Paris bag but i just find it so handy i have to use it all the time). I threw on my River Island reptile print headband which is such a easy go to piece that makes my hair look amazing on a bad hair day!!

August Outfit a Day Challenge

August is a pretty temperamental month weather wise, so I thought I would attempt to do a outfit a day challenge; throughout August the weather can go from HOT to rainy and cold within hours so i thought it might be interesting to see what my go to pieces are and how i can style them for different weather conditions.

So Here is Day 1 -

Wearing my favourite Zara sequin trousers and my newly purchased Primark high neck crop, I have also styled it up with my skull shoes from the amazing website everything5pounds (yes they were only £5!! They scream McQueen to me!) and my statement necklace from Primark; i also tried a little half up half down with my hair, normally its all down and messy so i thought i would go with a more polished look. Also please excuse the quality i dont always have time to go get my Nikon so some are taken on my iphone!

18.07.13

With Summer well and truly here my favourite go to item is a maxi dress, i wear mine for every occasion whether its chilling out in the garden or going out for drinks they are effortlessly chic and if you get the right one it will carry you though to winter.

Dress - Evie Hart Here

So these are a few outtakes from my online boutique this maxi dress is only £28! one has definitely made its way to my wardrobe it is so flattering and light and i have had so many compliments in it, my favourite thing about maxis is they look amazing with hair up (as i love mine down but in this heat i have to wear it up) and whilst wearing them you get that amazing no strap tan!

I will definitely be wearing this maxi in the winter too with a chunky knit jumper over the top and some gorgeous ankle boots! I love that a maxi looks so striking just on its own with no accessories they are literally my summer saviour.

Summer Sunshine

So the weather is getting hotter and hotter (almost to the point of unbearable wheres a pool when you need one?), But it does mean that i can have a play around with some of the items in my wardrobe that are normally deemed too short when the temperature is under 20 degrees.

Shirt (Worn as a Dress) - Barbara Hulanicki for Topshop
Shoes - Primark (New In)
Sunglasses - RayBan

I am in love with this shirt; it is from the first Barbara Hulanicki for Topshop range i fell in love with it instantly and had to have it, since i bought it i have seen a few celebrities wearing it including Mary-Kate Olsen who brought her own bohemian twist to it.

Barbara Hulanicki is the genius behind the brand Biba which was huge in the 60's and embodies the British punk hippy era, her designs still inspire today she created a in demand brand that will never be replicated and as much as i love her designs and style i feel like the Biba essence has not been translated in to the 21st century very well, i loved her first collection for Topshop it was exciting and unique it felt almost like owning a original but it has been 4 years since then and now there is a Biba range in House of Fraser that comes out every season and i just honestly dont think it represents the name it carries which is a shame and each to their own, how i feel about it is not how every one feels because it is a hugely popular collection, but it does not excite me like the vintage Biba or like Topshops first collection.

Ive paired mine with my new sandals from Primark, i have been swooning over the Celine sandals for months ever since Zara did their version i needed a pair but being a size 6 and wanting the most coveted shoes around has been near impossible so when i spotted these new in beauties in Primarni this week and they actually had my size in i knew i had to purchase them (the £12 price tag helped!!) so i am in need of lots of lovely summery events to make sure i wear these as much as possible over coming months!

This sunshine has been beautiful but so hot it has been hard getting motivated to get dressed in anything other than a bandeau and short shorts but i was determined to make a effort today and share it with you all! I love the sun but it is very hard to be fashionable in it!!
